What is PRP?

An autologous reservoir of growth factors

Platelets play a central role in both hard and soft tissue regeneration. They release essential growth factors — FGF, PDGF, TGF-β, EGF, VEGF and IGF — involved in stem cell migration, differentiation, angiogenesis and tissue remodelling, and they stimulate fibroblasts and endothelial cells.

Plasma contains nutrients, hormones, electrolytes and plasma proteins that support coagulation and fibrin matrix formation — a natural scaffold for cell migration and new tissue regeneration. AUTOSOMA-PRO PRP is prepared exclusively from the patient’s own blood.

  • Red blood cell depletion >99%
  • Selective depletion of pro-inflammatory granulocytes (96.7%)
  • Remaining leukocytes predominantly lymphocytes and monocytes
  • Optimized platelet integrity and biological activity
Skin revitalisation with PRP
Technology platform

Standardised autologous preparation in four steps

Pharmaceutical-grade vacuum tubes with sodium citrate anticoagulant and a proprietary separating gel isolate plasma and platelets from blood cells inside a closed system.

Blood collection

A minimal blood volume is drawn directly into the AUTOSOMA-PRO tube.

Centrifugation

8 minutes at 3500 rpm (1500 G) — mechanical isolation with an inert separator gel.

Platelet resuspension

Platelets are gently resuspended in the plasma above the gel.

Ready to use

Standardized, leukocyte-reduced and highly reproducible PRP.

Technology advantages

Built for routine clinical practice

Standardized

User-independent

Standardized preparation with minimal variability thanks to the proprietary separating gel.

Safe

Closed circuit

Safe closed-circuit system with reversible anticoagulation using pharmaceutical-grade sodium citrate (pH 7).

Efficient

Minimal learning curve

Easy to use and clinically efficient, with full plasma recovery preserving growth factors and fibrinogen.

Clinical applications

Aesthetics & orthopedics

Aesthetics

Face PRP

Face and neck revitalisation — fine wrinkles, skin texture and elasticity. Histologic evidence of new collagen formation, and use in acne scars and as adjunctive therapy for keloid scars.

Orthopedics

Orthopedic PRP

Knee, hip, shoulder and ankle, tendinopathies and back pain. In tendinopathies, significant clinical benefit was reported in up to 90% of patients, with continuous improvement over time.
